An amazing, diverse, LGBTQ+ book for kids

Kyle Lukoff is an amazing author. This book is one of my favourites as it deals with trans topics in a great, friendly way. Excellent read. 100% recommended for any child.

This is an amazing book (in both content and imagery) that helps kids understand gender in both personal and powerful ways. It has such a universal benefit to all kids to be true to who they are and to not be confined by gender norms. The book focuses on Aidan's role as a brother and not their trans identity, so it helps cisgender kids relate to the experience of caring for others in their family. Aidan's concern about not "gendering" their new sibling is absolutely touching. The illustrations are just beautiful. We own about 10 children's books about gender, and this is by FAR our favorite.
