As for someone who has a natural tendency to effortlessly remember almost everything that isn't important, I found this guide extremely helpful with devising effective strategies for information retention and recollection. This book offers useful tips that help alleviate the stress I'd normally put myself through while drilling new information in my head through various methods of pictorial thought. They do involve some effort at the beginning and some consistent practice afterward, but I'm really surprised with how many lists and examples I can still effortlessly recite from this book weeks after having finished it. My only grievance is that many of these lists are broken down focus points from other highly regarded self-help authors, and at least once the author used the opportunity to make a sales pitch for one of the books he was referencing. Not a crime, but I feared that with repetition of plugging other books, it would increasingly become a marketing tool rather than a guide for self-improvement. Luckily, it was not a reccuring instance.
