To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
While the book is cool in regards to the pages and text—the lift flaps are ridiculously out of context….a piece of pie is under the dirt and a comb behind a door? I thought the flaps to lift would be related to construction but they are random and pointless. Other than that the book is great overall.
My 2 year old grandson enjoyed this book the first time but was bored after that. Once you open the cardboard doors they don't lay back down completely and got bent. The items that were hidden didn't really match the page and seemed too random.
The first book I received was warped, I thought it was a defect so sent back for a new one. Received the replacement the next day and it was warped too. They were both clearly brand new so must just be how the book is? My 2 year old loves this kind of stuff so I ended up keeping it.
