Robert R. McCammon has made another amazing entry in the Matthew Corbett series. Though I understand some readers have been upset that this entry seemed to be a side note to the continued search for the mirror, I disagree. If Mr. McCammon decided to write ten more books in the Corbett series and continue with side adventures I would be happy. I say this because of Mr. McCammon's superb storytelling.
I dont really have much to add about the story in this book because I am sure others have explained the premise. I don't want to potentially give spoilers either.
I do want to comment on one character in particular. DeKay. I could not stop reading during DeKay's backstory. In addition, the backstory of Cardinal Black was equally a page turner (or page swiper on my Kindle).
