Just one more Trump bashing book (yawn), capitalizing on the opportunity to do so. I'm not even a Trump supporter and I came away from this book distressed that it was soooooooooooo blatantly biased. Biden's perceived halo gets polished, spinning his blunders as achievements. Addressing his rapidly diminishing approval rating, no explanation was offered, just that his feelings get hurt learning that. He is painted as a wise, focused, competent soul, a visionary devoted solely to the interests of the American public,, completely ignoring the multitude of blunders and gaffes associated with his presidency.Waste of money!
I was really REALLY glad I started reading this book in a public place (my beauty salon). After reading only up to page 28, I became more and more disenchanted with this text. OK. I get it: Not everyone likes Trump. However, I lost count of the derogatory and downright nasty comments made about the ex-President. I mean, did Stephen King (known for his dislike of Trump) share his anti-Trump thesaurus with these authors.I agree with another reviewer: should have read more about the authors and the biased content of this book. Sadly, (and I never, ever reject any text), I have DEFINITELY passed on this one.
I started reading this book with a sense of excitement only to be greatly disappointed after only a few pages. I forced myself to continue but it only got worse. The political bias in this book in incredible. I’m not a fan of either Trump or Biden. We all know Trumps short coming but he certainly had some accomplishments, none of which are mentioned. Biden on the other hand is portrayed as competent president which is certainly far from the truth.
Even thought I knew the authors worked for CNN, there was a small part of me hoping for an unbiased account of their findings. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It’s as if the book was backed by Joe Biden, praising him at every opportunity. And of course, Trump being made out to be the worst President ever. On top of that, very little “scoop” was provided. It was like watching CNN 18 months ago. Don’t waste your time or money.
I failed to read the 'Bio's' on these authors! I 'thought' I was ordering a book on the issues facing our country today. After reading only 22 pages of snarky, derogatory comments about Trump and the Republicans, I checked the authors' Bio's & discovered they were simply CNN henchmen! If you hate Trump, hate Republicans, maybe even hate America, this book is for YOU!
Can’t imagine that I actually ordered this book, considering the authors! I don’t know what is written in the rest of the book (I can 💯 imagine) but gave up after the first 2 dozen or so beginning pages of Trump bashing. Didn’t know 1/6 was the only remarkable event in Trump’s presidency
This book has no journalistic balance. It’s 450 pages of ad hominem attacks on trump. Boring. I was looking forward to reading a balanced account of the events that resulted in Biden “winning” the 2020 election while hiding in his basement. Wrong! The authors of this book remind us why the New York Times has become the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.
There was little new or revelatory in this boring review of the end of 45's administration and the beginning of the 46th. Wish I hadn't bought it. I paged through most of it. I suppose it will be a source for future scholars. Good luck to them.
Not one word about exploding inflation caused by Biden's executive orders. Not one word about the 2000 mules that were employed to stuff mail in ballots, and in the epilogue they path themselves on their backs about how many elections they have so expertly reported. This book shows why the New York Times is a trash heap!
