This gorilla glue is 3 yrs old and at the end of it's shelf life.

I was having trouble getting the glue to move out of the hole for dispensing. I had to use huge pliers to squeeze to tube the first time using. Second time using plumber pliers didn't help, so I had to unscrew the whole top. What a mess that made! I called Gorilla glue to complain about their bottle design and she asked for the date code and at "16 076" she told me the product was manufactured on 76th day of 2016. That's about 3 years ago and the shelf life for this glue is 3 YEARS! I gets harder and more unusable as time goes on. Also, they sent me two 4oz bottles instead of one 8oz bottle, which would have been fine if the product was fresh.

I really dislike giving negative reviews. But, I am very disappointed. Gorilla Glue has a great reputation. However, I received the glue on 20 Jan 2019. I did not need it until today (21 April 2019) and the glue is dried up. I've read that it has a 3 year shelf life. And, of course, the return date is closed. Didn't think I would have had to check this product out for freshness. Money wasted.

This glue sucks for sensitive crafting

This glue expands like freaking crazy, making anything you glue end up being crooked even if you put a weight on to ensure it cures correctly. Total crap for styrofoam or any other sensitive crafting material that you cannot apply ridiculous amounts of pressure on during the curing process. Also, the label says for best results allow it to cure for 24 hours. This drags out the crafting process to ludicrous lengths. I do NOT recommend.

I received another product from amazon (chip clips) that the magnets were not stuck to. Rather than returning the product, I purchased Gorilla Glue so I could reattach the magnets into the sockets where the magnets sit. Just a little dab squeezed all over the place when I got the magnet in and pressed. Wiped that off, lesson learned. Let sit, with magnets clamped to ensure pressed in. Barely any adhesion whatsoever. If you drop clip a few inches onto a countertop, or the floor, magnets pop right out. Will not ever get Gorilla Glue again.

This crap FOAMS UP…severely!!! It ruined my project

Absolutely the worst epoxy in the market. The chemical reaction happened within 30 minutes of application and the foam hardened within two hours. I had my project clamped and stepped out of the shop while it was drying…only to return and find the project completely ruined due to significant foaming. Its a think, gum-like foam, and it moved the joints during expansion. I have no idea who uses this product and gives it 5 stars, but they must’ve been using it on something that did not require any aspect of aesthetics. I will never buy another Gorilla glue product again. Never.
