I liked the price and reviews seemed good. Upon inspection and assembled I had to pass. Biggest issue is that there is only one option to mount to trailer mount(without drilling into unit) and that is about 2" from end, which would give about 2" of support coming out of the vehicle...Also I thought the mounting rod was solid metal, but it's not...ther is just a 1" piece of steel(for the bolt to go through) in a hollow tub. I don't see that ending well? I think this may be a fair option for childrens bikes, but I'm not going to trust $6000 worth of bike on it. Packed it up and returned it with out using it, not worth the risk. Thank you Amazon for the great return policy.
