I like this toaster. Maybe I don't make my toast dark enough, but I can never see the Hello Kitty face! I'm also picky about cleaning the crumbs out, and the bottom panel easily slides out to be rinsed.

My wife and I get this toaster out when the grandchildren are visiting. My granddaughter in particular, loves Hello Kitty and enjoys making toast with this.

As an actual toaster, this appliance is somewhat mediocre. It tends to make the toast too light, making it difficult to see the Hello Kitty face, or to burn the toast, but at least we then get a good image. With my granddaughter we cook the toast “well done” because it is more fun that way for her. And quality time with the children is really what this toaster is about.

It's perfect! It's super cute. If you like dark toast, it is especially good with the Hello Kitty faces. The first time I made toast there was a strange smell, but I think that is it was from the dust/cardboard from shipping in the toaster burning off like dust. I wish that it were a little lower in price though. It is a little pricey for a very simple toaster.

As far as toasting bread, it does great. The only way to get the hello kitty outline, the heat needs to be turned up all the way; however, with the heat all the way up, the other side gets buuurnt. So only expect an awesome looking toaster with normal toasted bread.

Overall, it's good at toasting -- only. I gave this a 4 star because I still love having a toaster shaped as Hello Kitty in my kitchen.

Well I got this because 1) I adore Hello Kitty and 2) my toaster had recently gotten damamged. I was so excited when it arrived. I plugged it in right away and used it. All the setting are clearly marked and work well. The only dissappointment I have is that the Hello Kitty image that is supposed to appear on one side of the bread is not always there. I don't like my toast too dark but sometimes a clear image appears and sometimes it doesn't ( I have it set at a 3.5 out of 7). All in all I'm very pleased. If you are getting this primarily for the image that is supposed to be left on the toast be aware it may not always appear as clear and consistently as you like.

The delivery time was pretty fast, but thats not the amazing part. The toaster dose print hello kitty on bread. The only thing is you may have to set it to the 3rd setting if you use wheat bread, which is a bit crunchier than i wanted. My advice is to use white, or potato bread to get a clear picture of hello kitty. Everything works well. there are reheat, defrost, and bagel settings above the browning control dial. There's also a cancel button that'll save your toast before it could turn into a piece of burnt coal (i don't usually keep an eye on my toast)

I love this Toaster!!!!!! I recommend if toasting multiple rounds of toast the first time setting it on 4 then after that if the toaster is still warm turning it down a bit. The white part of Hello Kittys face is still toasted and not raw as it may appear. I would give this toaster a 4.3 out of 5 because of the possibility that the toast will be very dark on the back. But I like it that way...

So even on a #3 heat setting, your bread will be pretty brown, but you really can't see the face pretty much ever. The onyl way to see it is on a $6+ and your bread will be burnt beyond recognition. BUT the outside is cute, the wide slots are the BEST for bagels (and has a heat setting for them as well) so it's still like a 4.8 stars :)
