Snaps off before I even get to trim anything.

Disappointed. I bought this roll in anticipation for my other roll being nearly gone. Now that I started using it about a month after buying I find that it breaks immediately after turning on my trimmer. In most cases I don’t even get the trimmer to the grass to start cutting and the string has already snapped off. I have used this trimmer for years with out issue until I started using this string and now I’m stuck with 295’ of trimmer line that I can’t use. Based on how well this is reviewed by others maybe I just got a bad batch or something.

This the first thing that I have ever bought from Amazon that doesn't live up to its claims. I had to replace the lines 6 times in about every 30 minutes. I had no twigs, rocks or any thing that should cause it to wear out so rapidly. I was cutting what we call "Johnson Grass " .The height was no taller than 14 inches at any spot. I have a Sears 5hp high wheel trimmer. I replaced this Cyclone [the roll doesn't not have the Cyclone logo on it, just on the bar code label says Cyclone] with regular .080 line and didn't have to replace it at all. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This is the first amazon review I have ever written and I'm wondering if I'm missing something because of all of the positive reviews....which is the reason I did not hesitate in buying this weedeater line when I found it. Watch Out for Line Strength Degradation

Over time, the line strength weakened to the point that it breaks after light use. I did not notice line degradation until about 1 year of use off the spool. Now, all line from the spool breaks within about 5 minutes of use.

Does not fit many .155" heads

I tried this .155" line on a Kwik HD trimmer head. The lines kept on flying off the head after less than a minute's use. When I looked for another HD trimmer head on-line, I discovered I couldn't find one that would accept .155" line, unless it was round in cross section. This stuff by Cyclone is hexagonal making it useless for me. I've returned the line. Buyers should be aware of the difficulty of finding a head that will work with this hexagonal line.
