I'm not sure which seller I bought from, but I received 2 packs in a baggie (so not in the original packaging) that look nothing like the little containers I see here. The pack of 5's I received have squared off corners, not rounded on one side like the images here. The corners are all even, not with the thicker left side as pictured. In fact the only images online I can find that look like the ones I received are being sold on eBay. So yeah. Plus the quality wasn't there. I'm sure they aren't all fake, but buyer beware.
It did provide a closer shave but it wasn't as smooth. The passes hurt quite a bit to shave a 2 day old beard. I'm used to a more smooth blade but I heard so much about this one that I decided to try. I will probably be using the whole pack but wasn't as good as expected for me to buy it again.
All of our faces are different but for me this is one of the best blades I've used. It's sharp but also smooth. It seems to be more forgiving then a Feather blade. It doesn't irritate my neck like other blades. I'm very pleased.
I have tried a lot of safety blades and so far I like these the best. I can get 5 shaves from one blade. They are sharp but not sharp as Feathers. I have to be careful with Feathers the first one or two shaves because they will bite you if you don't pay attention.
Venturing back into blade shaving after decades of mostly electric & weekend straight razor. Retired now, and used Wilkinson blades as a kid. Compared left side Wilkinson shave in a Vintage Schick Krona with my favorite vintage Schick Eversharp injector for the right. Equivalent for first shave - let's see which gives more quality shaves in subsequent use.
With the preface that everyone's skin is different, and I'm fairly new to the DE shaving world (just got my first DE razor for Christmas, but have been wet shaving with cartridge razors for 10 years), I felt these were maybe a little too sharp for my skin. Left me with lots of nicks and cuts every time. Only after using the same blade for 4-5 shaves does it get dull enough that it doesn't cut me, but then the shave is kind of poor... Maybe if I was more manly and had tougher skin, it would be ok, but just not for me.
