Hitch lock post is too long and key way too FAT

The bike rack is perfectly fine. The manufacturer needs to improve on auxiliary details. They make the locking cable (sold separately) hitch pin difficult to use in tight spaces. First the pin is too long. You have to get the key into the end of the pin after it is screwed and tighted down. And this is under your car bumper and in my case a very tight area. Second the key has to go into the end of the pin rather than other hitch locks from the side. And third, they make their key the fattest thing on the key chain and as an RV owner, we already have too many bleeping keys. Why not respect others and simply make a normal flat key rather than some over width plastic knob. And the way its made, you can't just cut it away as the metal does not go through it. Guys (manufacturer), you need to use your own products with lots of other gear.

The threaded pin does not fit a standard hitch.

The 1/2” threaded pin evidently has an odd ball thread pitch. It can not be threaded into either of my two standard hitches. No mention of this odd thread pitch on packaging. In fact the packaging states that it fits all Class 1 and 2 universal hitches. It does not. Beware. Also, the pin looks like it is manufactured with cheap metal and then chrome plated. The lock and cable are fine but if it does not fit anything it is worthless. Sending it back for a refund.

Hitch pin bolt was manufactured with wrong thread.

The idea, design and concept is great, it's the manufacturing and inspection of the threaded bolt pin that failed. The bolt pin wouldn't thread into the bicycle rack so I inspected it with my thread gauges and found the threads in the hitch was 1/2x13 which is a SAE standard, the threads on the bolt pin were 1/2x12 which I've never heard of. I've worked in design and production of tool and dies for 20 yrs and have never seen a 1/2x12 thread. I didn't have time to return it so I had a new pin made for it. Most customers of this part would've had to return it and hope the next one was correct. It was something that should've been caught by inspection and I wonder how many was produced before or if it was ever found.

It fit fine and I was very happy when I first bought it. But, today I wanted to remove the rack from my car and the pin snapped off as I was trying to remove it. Turns out it's made of pretty cheap metal that didn't last. It took me 3 hours to get the broken pin removed. I won't be buying another.
