More fun for skins than pours
Reviewed in Canada on April 20, 2020
You can do some pretty coll things with this product if you think outside of the box.
I initially tried Liquitex Pouring Medium using standard acrylic pour techniques last year, and wasn't entirely pleased with the results.
*NOTE* (It is an incredibly sticky medium. All pour recipes should be adjested accordingly.)
But after watching a #quarantineart video demo this week, I re-upped on Liquitex Pouring Medium experiments, with great results. By adding alcohol inks, mica pigments, or a combination of both, you can create transparent/translucent skins to apply to other art pieces. This is particularly fun for abstract/mixed-media artists.
I am very pleased with these results.
