Surprised to drill 1/4” holes with plastic snaps to hold in place. Expected double sided Velcro. No bed rug symbol on Matt as shown in pic. Just light weight foam backed carpet. Time will tell on durability but as it stands good purchased. Used this in too if a decked drawer system. Had extra left over to do tail gate so bonus. That i used dbl sided tape
Was not exactly as advertised in photo on product site (including proper type of 2019 GMC..not for New Generation style box). Difficult to measure and cut for my 2019 New Generation GMC Sierra 1500. Was not wide enough (said it would fit cargo box...but didn't). Will be returning product (cut).
The factory bedliner in my new 2017 Silverado High Country "High Desert" special edition was slick and hard on the knees. I could not find a regular fit option, so I ordered this one. It was very easy to cut to the size I needed, looks great, and is soft enough that I could sleep on it! It does a great job holding smooth-bottomed items in place; even plastic storage bins. I chose not to anchor it to my bed since I cut to fit the exact dimensions (no movement); this will also make it easy to take out if necessary. I had enough left over to allow me to cover the tailgate liner as well. This is GREAT for sitting on the tail gate or setting things down without rolling/sliding off. Overall I am very happy with this bed mat and am actually ordering another roll for other uses (in the back of my Polaris Ranger, trailer, big tool box, etc.
I needed to do something to keep from killing my knees when crawling around on my tailgate & Decked unit in my Tundra CrewMax. I have a popup shell (GoFast XL) platform camper as well. I had a custom-fit Bedrug in the truck before I got the new camper/Decked unit, and it worked great ... decided to get the 'universal' mat for my new setup - very easy to measure and cut to size. My knees are so much happier now, and I get the added bonus of not having cargo slide around as much. Easy to remove and clean when necessary, and looks great as well.
Great product, it is perfect for its intended use. They do not have a precut version for my truck (which I have purchased previously) so I bought this. I created templates for the bed floor and cur it to fit. It is easy to cut with a sharp carpet knife or utility knife. I used outdoor Velcro to hold it in place which also allows me to remove it if I ever have to. This piece gave me enough to do the bed floor, tailgate and cab front wall with some leftover. I have a midsize short bed crew cab pickup.
Was very easy to cut. My advice, do what I did and get a bendable ruler
MLCS 9327 Woodworking 36-Inch Flexible Curve Ruler
to get your cuts right for the wheel wells. Another tip: I drilled the hole in the bed liner, took a white out pen and circled the hole with the white out, pressed down on the mat and it creates a great mark that you can then use to punch/drill the hole in your mat. I'm very satisfied with it. I even had enough left over from the bed, to put some on the tail get. (I have a Nissan Frontier with a 55x72" bed).
Pretty easy to install. I put it over an existing plastic liner using straight cuts not trying to cut around every little contour and it looks great. It could use a few more anchors, but is ok. There was plenty of material for the bed and tailgate. So far it is pretty durable, it has a good grippy texture. It is rug like so dirt will get in it and grass or straw will stick to it. Just broom it. It seems to dry quickly but my bed is covered so I don’t know how it will do with an open bed that collects water. My truck gets homeowner use, not commercial. I like this bed rug a lot and would buy it again.
Rug has a nice feel and looks great. I used it to carpet the interior of my cherokee,(floor, roof and back side walls) -the pad stops a lot of noise and makes a great thermal barrier and is easy to clean. I used 3m spray adhesive to stick it to the ceiling. it is flexible enough to mould to the floor shape (if you cut it to fit then roll it up tight in 2 directions it softens up and conforms very well) love this stuff - By the way for a cherokee all floors ceiling and back side walls it took 3 rolls, leaving enough for a pad to leave in my jeep for a ground pad to lay on. cheers
