I bought this with the idea that I would have it in the bed of my truck part time to keep items from sliding around the bed as well as taking naps at work on it while taking it out to haul dirty loads. What a piece of junk, I paid $63 for this as an open box item and I feel cheated. I think the Sunday paper weighs more than this. I bought my first truck a 1994 aqua green Ford Ranger for $3400 in 2000....I would put this “rug” in there. No way would this go in my $45,000 Ram. It looks like they slapped the carpet from someone’s trunk on a big piece of uncut window insulation. I doubt this will this hold up to heavy use. Going back.
There was no adhesion capability for this product, as it is a resale item. The product is very good and I look forward to using it this winter vacation. The sound deadening capability is noticeable.
Update: The Bedrug bed mat is a great purchase. I drove to/fro Chicagoland during Thanksgiving vacation and my stuff I placed in the back did not slide and bounce everywhere as before. Mission accomplished. I highly suggest purchasing this item if you have a cap.
My product arrived with a heavily damaged box and missing the installation materials. Called BedRug, and they are shipping the materials free of charge. I love these products and over the years owned 6 bedrug liners. The only advice I have is, do not leave them exposed to reflected or concentrated sunlight from energy blocking windows as they will melt a little. Otherwise, normal direct sunlight has no effect and spilled materials truly do rinse right off or vacuum up.
I have gotten BedRugs for my F 150s previously, and they were great. Figured this was the same? No, Does not fit. Also, thinner than my previous BedRugs...... And, it used plastic pegs instead of velcro? I am not drilling holes in the bed.............
I love this thing! I use it under a tonneau cover on my 2016 Ram Crew Cab and it keeps bed contents perfectly stationary while traveling. I didn't attach it to the floor, so I simply pull it right out to load and haul dirt and other materials that I don't want on my nice clean mat.
