To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Bought these for an older vehicle's door panels. They work, but it was hard to snap them it to the clip holders - make sure you watch the flashing from when they were molded. Once I realized that I needed to line them up so the flashing wasn't at right angles, but instead straight into the holder, I didn't have a problem.
One of these broke while I was installing it though, I was a little disappointed with that.
Good news is - they work, and the bulk packaging makes them much more affordable than purchasing a bunch from the dealer or even the local part store. Even with the problems, I'd buy them again.
1995 s10. These are longer and wider than the original retainers. I had to file the center post slightly and trim the tops of the heads to get them to work. They might be a good deal if they actually fit what you have.
I bought these just in case I broke some when I took off the door panel to replace the inside door handle to my Chevy truck. I didn't break any so I didn't need to use any. These were suggested for my truck but they are different that the ones that are on my truck. Be careful to order the correct clips. Maybe take the panel off to see what you have before ordering.
They work and they fit my 2001 GMC Sonoma door panel, but I had to take 2 stars off because several of them broke. They installed fine, but when I took the panel back off the door again the heads popped off a few of the clips. They are not as strong as the clips that originally came in the truck. But since the bag comes with 25, it's easy to grab another one.
This clip doesn't fit '99 and '98 Suburbans without modifications, which means it's not the right fit. The clips on my Suburbans have a smaller oval head - the topmost circle. So, with dikes, I had to clip the heads of these fasteners into a rough oval shape that would fit into the panel's metal retainer.
