To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I am a doctoral student who purchased this book as a reference for a couple of different papers I am writing. Though I had heard of "positive identity" before, I didn't understand what was supposed to be so "positive" about identity. I found that this book offered wonderful insights not only about "what is positive about identity" but also about various cognitive, emotional, and behavioral manifestations of identity in general. I also thought that defining and describing positive identity at multiple levels of analysis was especially appealing. Each of the authors has also provided numerous illustrative examples to clearly define their constructs. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in or needs a great resource related to identity, positive identity, and identity work.
