To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
not what i expected of it due to the rating on amazon. i really didnt think this book was that great. i mean its great for beginners because there is some basic knowledge on the meaning of the planets and the houses. i exoected it to go more in depth but it didnt which i was disappointed about. if you need to learn the basics this boos is great, if you are more advanced in astrology i wouldnt recommend.
I scanned the intro and read the first 4 houses in this book and had a look at my RS . The reason i bought it is I'm really struggling to get deeper insights of the 4th house-- water houses dynamics . This book offers all standard stuff and not argued well. I'm an Astrology researcher and have been digging for years into the roots of the system . My main criticism is the author argues his ideas for House meanings using 3 different criteria( logical associations , psychology and mythology ) and shifts from one to another whenever logical connections can't be made Plus plan old fudging with a platitude TO make the nexus in a lines of arguments . He quotes Liz Greene in the book so I assume they were friends and she writes the introduction . But this book is nowhere nearly well argued or as deep as Liz's books .
