Amazing book about different families

I borrowed this book from the library and had to have my own copy. It's a beautiful little book explaining all the different types of families out there. I have an adult niece who was raised by her grandparents and she absolutely loved it as it included her situation. Single parents. Queer parents. The book covers it all. My kids love it too. Definitely perfect to have in the classroom for JK to maybe grade 2. I love the inclusiveness of Todd Parr's books and would definitely recommend this to anyone with little ones.

Such a fun story to read together and share in the learning. My children like this book and keep asking me to read it over and over again. Which I do. The pages are bright and happy drawings. No one is the same shape, size,or colour in this book. Everyone is different. Everyone belongs.

The content of this book is great! I’m a single-mom-by-choice so I love that it makes all different types of families for my baby! I actually ended up buying the board book version because this paperback was super thin and my baby is into eating books (eeekk). But I’ve kept this book for the future and love anything Todd Parr!

contents of boardbook different from paperback

I got a paperback as a gift from hospital. My son loves reading it. At 8 months time, he tore off one of the page. I therefore ordered a boardbook to replace the paperback. However, some of the pages are missing and different. If you ask me which one is better, I'd say the paperback. It tells my son, when we lose someone, we feel sad; some families look alike... Now i keep both versions in my bookshelf.

Great book, but damaged

The perfect book to show my children about the different families. However, the boom I received was damaged. I don't recall selecting "used" when I clicked on the hardcover option. I'm guessing an issue with whoever completed the order. With that being said I won't be returning as I don't like being wasteful, just wanted to give a heads up.
