If you are a Jeep 4.0 guy, don't expect this kit to replace all of your plugs. Your 4.0 will use 5 each of the 2" plugs along the driver's side of the block. There are three additional plugs on the back of the engine. One 2' plug for the back of your cylinder head, one 2" plug behind your bellhousing-directly below the one for your head. That's seven 2" plugs total. You only get 6 with this kit. The larger metal (silver) plug you see in this kit goes slightly lower and to the passenger side, behind the bellhousing. It is an oil passage, hence it's non-brass makeup. Good quality stuff here, but you must go out and find a single 2" plug to completely do your 4.0. Its is VERY unwise to replace all but one! Don't do that!!!
For the most part, this kit worked great. What I didn't like was that the kit comes with (2) 1" brass plugs that aren't used for the 1999 Jeep 4.0 Ltr that I'm working on and is missing the brass plug for the back of the cylinder head.
