Good anti pull harness

Purchased size large as my bearded collie cross old English sheep dog named Stella is 30 kg but 90 cm in the chest. This chest measurement is the upper limit for the large harness. I found this tended to be too tight on her, so after a week of trying this size of harness, I purchased the xl size. This has worked out much better for both of us. Stella, a natural herder of cats, deer and the occasional black bear, is much easier to control during our trail walks with this harness. I would recommend this harness for any dog that tends to pull.

Very similar to Easy Walk

Fits very similar to the Easy Walk by Petsafe, with the strap across the shoulders. I find this style almost impossible to fit on my Husky, so I have to return. He's got narrow shoulders and a slim chest and is very fluffy so getting it two fingers tight is very difficult. This causes the harness to rub his arm pits badly.

Otherwise the Velvet padding looked good and the harness seems like a very good quality. Also came with leash which wasn't in the original listing. The leash is very strong looking.

This is the third harness I've tried with my dog, and it's her least favorite. She cringes and backs away when I try to put it on, which she doesn't do with other harnesses. I think it's in part because it's so heavy and in part where it puts pressure on her body. The plastic clips are bulky and hit her right behind the shoulder, where they dig in when I use the front clip. No amount of fiddling with the fit has made it more comfortable for her.

She's a 45lb pit mix who pulls. I'd hoped this would help prevent pulling, but it hasn't. If the leash is clipped to the martingale loop at the top, she pulls as usual. If it's clipped to the front chest loop, when she pulls, the force on my arm is less, but it does nothing to discourage or prevent pulling. She's also able to back out of it when the leash is clipped to the front loop if she turns around and faces me. Again, no amount of tightening or adjusting helps that. All in all, pretty disappointed. Going to keep searching for the right harness.

Broken after 7 months

I have two of these harnesses purchased at separate times through Amazon. The first I bought in 2016 and it's still working like a charm. The second one I purchased in July of 2019 and it recently snapped at the clip and my dog got loose. I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of the second harness given how sturdy the first is. I've recommended 2 Hound's no-pull harnesses on numerous occasions, but not sure I'd trust the quality any longer. 2 Hounds also don't seem to have a warranty unless you purchase the "chewing" warranty directly through their website, which wasn't the case for me. So if it breaks, looks like you're out $35.

Ripped Day One! What is up with theses harnesses?

This is the third harness I have purchased in four years! The first two ripped also. This one is ripped on the first day wearing it - two hours at a restaurant with Mateo lying by my side. (NO he did not chew it! ) With all of the complaints about durability, you would think the company would figure this out by now. I’m a glutton for punishment I guess. I love the function and fit for a standard poodle. It’s maddening! Not to mention dangerous if it rips all the way through while out in the real world with it!

Just about impossible to get the fit right. I don’t understand all the positive reviews. I finally gave up after many frustrating attempts. Seems like a nice enough halter if you can get it to work. I couldn’t. It’s going back.

I really wanted this to work. My dog could pull my arm out of it's socket with her pulling and lunging. I thought the Harness would be the answer per the other reviews. It just did not keep my dog from lunging forward and trying to pull me down the street. It is sturdy, and has a nice cushioned strap. My dog does better with a gentle leader or a haltie arrangement.

I had high hopes for this harness. Sadly it is majorly flawed. They advertise the chewing replacement and act like that is why it keeps ripping in the same place for people. My dog has NEVER chewed this harness and we only put it on for walks. That’s it. If your dog is a major puller on walks, expect this to break down fast. Until they fix their design and double stitch/reinforce them they will continue to rip.

This product came well recommended. A neighbour told us it was the best - and he had a Portuguese water dog. In theory, it seemed good - velvet on the inside so not to chaff. Sadly, it didn't work in practice. I don't know if it was fitted wrong or what but it got to the point that my dog would run to the door for his walk, see the harness and run away. We kept trying to adjust to no avail. So, we're back to the leash on his collar. The harness always seemed to yank tufts of this fur which was unfortunate. Our dog is a Lagotto - an Italian water dog (medium sized).

We got this harness for our 45 pound dog. It fit her well and helped curve her pulling. But it has already started to rip in less than 2 months. We have retired it because the strap connecting one of the clasps to the harness has ripped and we are concerned that it is going to break now. We only put the harness on her for walks, so I she has only worn the harness for about an hour or two every day.

I would look elsewhere.
