Not about to state what others have already mentioned, but I have to shot out about that hitch screw...are you kidding me?!
I prefer the hitch lock that I already have, a NORMAL hitch lock, which wouldn't fit in the threaded tube. Included hitch bolt cannot be done or undone by hand... trust me... you just can't. What to do...
Here's what I did:
Once upon a time, I bought a pack of hex shank carbide drill bits from CT at $5.89 on clearance, one of them was just the right size to fit in the threaded hitch tube, so I drilled and drilled, my neighbors came out to see what the noise was all about...after I waved at them, I sprayed water to cool the drill bit, then I drilled and drilled, sprayed again, drilled, sprayed, drilled, the hitch got so hot I had to put on gloves. Half hour later, the drill bit came out the other side, and now it is done, and done right! I slid my hitch lock in there with a smile of victory.
2 stars only because it's made sturdy. The agony I had was not worth the $133 I paid. If you don't have my craft or don't want my kind of headache, go buy something else.
