Very basic, but deep excellent Bible Study. We have a group of 10-12 women that have studied together for 10 years and we buy studies that are very expensive and include DVD's. We decided on this one by the reviews. We had no idea if this would be good or not. We wanted to have a study that was a "no frills"...just a good study of the book of John. This is it! We are having great discussion as the questions are thorough and very thought provoking.

We are 7 weeks into our 12 week small group overview of John's Gospel, and I have found that this guide certainly promotes excellent Scripturally-centered, Christ-centered, Gospel-centered discussion. Up to this point, it has avoided a pet-peave of mine in small group study, any question beginning with the words, "How do you feel....." Instead, I have found our group to be constantly directed into the Word of God during our discussions.

This Bible study has been a fantastic resource for the men of our church. Each week involves a manageable portion of reading followed by questions which insert the reader into the context of the passage and encourage a deeper dive into the underlying themes and topics of the text. The final section of each week includes some excellent theological analysis of the passage. Our men’s group meets for one hour, and we always have plenty to discuss. I have appreciated how the structure and content of the lessons have made us all much more familiar with John’s Gospel and one another. I highly recommend it for group Bible Study!
