I had high hopes for this product. I have to problems with stopped drains, but oh my, odors from my shower drain are very bad. Bio-film appears to a nasty mainstay in this drain. I followed the instructions, let the product sit overnight, but odor was back after one day of a clean smelling drain in the shower. I cannot use chlorine bleach...I do not want to destroy the good bacteria in my sewer system.

If anyone has any ideas for sewer-friendly drain odors cleaners, please post.

This product did not work for my drain. About a month after I started using it, my shower drain clogged, causing water to slowly back up. I tried letting this product sit for at least 24 hours for a few days to clear the drain, but it did not work. I ended up having to use draino to clear the drain because of how bad it was getting. At best, this product only slowed down how fast the drain was clogging.

My main bathroom sink where we brush our teeth has a smell that seems to come from the drains. I've used this 3-4 times and have seen no effect on the smell. It probably is helping my septic tank but since that is not visual I can't say. I'm going to have to try something else for the smell.
