Would not buy again, not worth the money.

Typical dorman junk, the lock lever had to be drilled to fit the lock rod, the supplied clips are wrong, and it sounds like a sick dog when I lock my door. Not worth the money, I would screw a padlock to my door before buying this again.

Everything fit perfect. However, its not a super easy job. Youll need to watch a youtube video to give u an understanding of how it goes. (If u never removed or installed one.)

Only problem I had is that there are 2 slots for the inner door cable to attach to. I kept attaching mine to the bottom slot and the inner door handle wouldnt open the door.

It was only later I realized there was another cable slot above the lower one and attached it to the upper slot and finnaly, the door latch opened from the inside.

Why are there 2 cable slots? My guess is that different year focuses have slightly different lengths and 2 slots were provided. They coulda at least labeled them to help the customer.

It fits perfectly in place of the OEM version. It also has a nice metal clip where the one on the OEM actuator was plastic. I feel a lot more confident with this actuator than the more expensive Ford replacement.

It came with replacement clips for the connecting rods. Mine didn't break pulling it off, but it's nice knowing that they're there if I need them.

Overall a great product.

Not a quick fix

Not being a real mechanic, I was able to replace this part, in 2 1/2 hours. There are numerous videos on you tube dealing with door panel removal and part Re&RE. It worked better with two people and all was/is well. Part was an exact match. My vehicle is 2007 Ford Focus SE. Though I was originally apprehensive about doing this myself, it was not as hard as I had feared.

A great product, the only issue is that the new clip for the door lock that goes to the latch is to flimsy and does not hold up or work well at all, make sure to keep the original oem clip and try not to break it as you will need it for the rod to stay connected, other than that the product is very well built as far as I can tell.
