as a cnc and laser woodworker I often need to assemble stuff I create. having never tried this glue I thought id try it.
when I arrived I noticed a non uniform colour to the glue through the translucent jug. I opened the lid, and the paper seal was already in the recess of the cap. hmmm I thought , maybe this type of goods isn't "sealed for your protection " being a non edible item. but there was also a weird scent to it. not glue but something spoiled. no I could see inside there was a sludge like layer that was darker brown than the rest ...and it kind of seemed to be mixed in the entire jug.
like I said I never have used this before so I dont know what its natural state is. it seems to work, although not to "pro" levels as indicated in the name.
like a glues and silicones they are damaged by freezing. maybe this was frozen, maybe a return. maybe thats the normal look, feel and texture of it.
I tried to reach out to Elmers but that proved more time consuming than I would be willing to cut from my life .
So it has become another live and learn parable.
BY GLUE FROM A BRICK AND MORTOR SHOP SO YOU SEE WHAT YOU ARE BUYING BEFORE YOU BUY IT. same exact experience with LePages 100% silicone. I did the bathroom and 2 days later it is brittle cracking an crap. it was FROZEN and therefore USELESS.
