I'm in the process of starting my own business and this book could not have been more timely! It is such an enjoyable, easy read that I finished it in a couple of hours. Each short chapter is filled with wisdom, knowledge and encouragement. I can see myself reading this book a few times over again as I look to implement the principles taught.
There are many principles to becoming a master at anything you do. I am using this as a leadership component in my team staff meetings this year to generate a feeling that whatever we do we all (including myself) need to continue to improve our skills to become masters at what we do in our jobs and our personal lives. I highly recommend this book to anyone.
Very easy to read - about a 2 hour read. I love Jon's ability to write a story - not your typical text book business book - and get his point across concisely. The lesson in this book applies equally to how you behave in business and in your personal life. Excellent read, well worth the money and time.
This is the latest book from Jon Gordon and following the series of stories that he uses to deliver powerful concepts of being true craftsmen and craftswomen in our life's mission. I would recommend it to anyone looking to improve their businesses, teams, families and themselves. A truly inspiring book.
Christian undertones strongly throughout do not spoil the read. I am finding that a year later I am still pulling on the basic message when leading others and myself. This is a different style of book but well worth reading.
