Originally, I really liked these cups. They were great for getting my toddlers to start drinking from a normal cup as opposed to a sip cup, and they didn't leak. I loved the sleek design, and how well they were working at training my kids. All that said, they are not fun to clean. In addition, they get mouldy FAST. And the mould spreads throughout the lid FAST. Like less than a day fast. They didn't in the beginning, but after a couple months when I would go to clean them the lids would have so much mould in them. And the lids are not easy to clean. there is a rubber ring that needs to be removed in addition to the rubber top on the plastic lid, and the mould gets into all of it. I really want these to work, but I can't stomach giving these to my kids knowing what starts growing in them so quickly, and the amount of time it takes me to clean them is unreal. You have to scrub and get into all these impossibly tiny spots. its just so much work. I think a lot of people would overlook where the mould is growing in these lids because its not something you notice right away.
I liked the cups, and the idea of the cups. I love that my kids loved them. I love the look and the feel. I don't like the mould. I don't like how hard they are to clean. I don't like that the mould almost feels hidden. If the mould issue wasn't there, I would definitely be buying more of these.
