Works with the OSSC, but hard to work with
Reviewed in Canada on August 4, 2018
The main reason I bought it is because it's compatible with the OSSC which is true (tested with the Super NES/Line4X). I've tried mulitple drivers compatible (like the ones from Micromsoft), but the unit seems a bit clumsy to work with regardless. Some parameters need you to reboot your computer, some others need you to unplug-replug the HDMI connection to "reset" the HDMI signal dectection. It's working fine if you never change your setup, but expect to sit down and mess with the drivers/streaming software if anything goes wrong. It's also working with OBS, but for some reason it doesn't let you change the aspect ratio (you need to edit your scene) while the soft provided (stream catcher) let you change it.
It does the job, but coming from an Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme which is more simple to use, I'm not sure I'll keep it.
