Vertical parts not square, deadblow hammer fixed that. Took me an hour to install. Overall quite happy with it. it took a beating in shipping... but who cars, the gravel on the road won't be kind to it either...
This works like a dream-come-true on my 2017 Ford F150 for "pushing" my boat back into my driveway. The street is a horribly tight fit and with a parking lot worth of neighboring cars parked all around my drive way!!
Yes, it makes for a rather low receiver/hitch. It could have been designed to sit up another inch. It seems to clear everything fine as is, but it would have been nice if it had fit up just a bit tighter.
I would definitely buy it again if I needed another one.
The installation took a bit of time, but that's mostly because I am really, really old!! Definitely go out and watch the videos on how to install it if you haven't installed one yet. Oh... and... one of the pieces of hardware was completely defective and unusable. I had to build new hardware myself. I didn't contact the vendor so I can't speak for how they might have responded. I needed the hitch sooner than I felt I could wait. So, if you buy one of these, examine the hardware closely before starting the install.
