Ordered these for my 2003 Ford F150 and while these are the right size plug, there is very little information on plug gap. These come pre-gapped with nice protection at a smaller gap than what is called for. There is surprisingly little info on whether I should re-gap to my truck's specs. I would think it would be included in with the plugs or easily on Denso's website. NOPE! It's not even easily found on google. Otherwise they appear to be a good quality plug. I would like to put 20,000 or 30,000 miles on them before rating any more.
The shipping and fit was perfect. I own a 2000 ford ranger 3.0 automatic. Presently my vehicle has 125K and I have experimented with other brands of spark plugs. Originally, I used single platinum Motorcraft and upgraded to double platinum Autolites. It was time for a tune up and read the comments, why not? I just installed them yesterday so I have not confirmed the MPGs, but they are definitely more responsive than either Motorcraft or Autolite. More grunt, power, and simply better performance throughout the RPM range. Great pricing vs the auto parts stores as well. Great investment. I will purchase again.
Great spark plugs, I bought a 2007 Ford Fusion with a 3.0V6. These are great plugs for the price of the cheap ones. I mean $23 for 6 plugs? I changed the coil over plugs with the plugs, as it is quite difficult to get to the back plugs,so I changed the plugs and coils at the same time, they came pre gapped so I just put them in and went.... Great value for a great product
One plug had the tip smashed into the electrode upon opening the box. Installed the other 5, once I started my car it immediately began to misfire on multiple cylinders and started throwing engine codes. Put the factory ac delco plugs back in that have 105k miles on them and it ran fine again. I have never had this issues before even with $1.00 NGK or autolite plugs. Denso has permanently lost my business. Spend the little extra money buy the AC Delco or bosch plugs and save the hassle and frustration.
My sons old 2002 Ford Ranger that we got about a year ago has always been sluggish and spits n sputters. We were told it had all new plugs, wires, filters etc. I ran injector cleaners and still nothing so I pulled the plugs! They were nowhere near new! I’m guessing they were the original plugs from 2002! Ground electrodes were nearly gone! Never seen that! These new plugs gave this lil truck a new life! Runs like a champ now!
