A low-quality scrub marketed as a top-quality scrub
Reviewed in Canada on June 6, 2021
I will say that I didn't mind the Brickell Men's Shampoo & Conditioner - though since using those products, I have found better quality ones on the market (Hanz de Fuko being one of them - amazing, try them out) - and I bought the Brickell face scrub not too long ago.
Don't like the texture of the scrub - it is more jelly-like than real exfoliating compounds with grit. For $28CAD, I expected a higher quality product. I feel the Brickell brand is just another brand you would find at the grocery/pharmacy store with the other generic ones. Over priced and ok-at-best - there are tons of other companies doing a better job with their face/men's products - URTH, Hanz, MenScience, Baxter, Jack Black. If you haven't tried anything from URTH, do yourself a favour and find them now. You will be paying a bit more, but honestly, it will do the trick and you won't look back. I just wanted to try the Brickell and see if I would ever buy them again (fact - I will not).
If you are 18-25, go with Brickell I guess, you are at that age where you don't HAVE TO spend more to get more. If you fellas are 25+, maybe 30+, you need to start putting your money into the better quality, more expensive products. Trust me. I'm 37 and for the last 12 years have been spending more on my grooming products, and honestly, as a smoker too, I look younger than every guy I know who is my age.
So, if you are looking for a top-quality face scrub, do not buy this one.
