I ordered this bike carrier on kinetic..Quickly delivery and easy set up. I was going to use it on my spare tire on RV travel trailer. Nothing mentioned when ordering or reading specs that this carrier is not to be used for that purpose. Was told by a travel dealership that most bumpers on RV's are of a hollow type and can easily crack or break under the stress if the weight if two or more bikes. Got a second and third opinion and they all said the same thing. Solution was to get the bumper reinforced with a heavier welded bar. For a couple hundred dollars more you can get s second receiver hitch put on and get a flat carrier for the back of your RV. The no use for. spare on a RV was only mentioned in the assembly instructions. Also believe your guarantee would be void if used on a RV spare not to mention the properble total loss of your bicycles.
