To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Thumps DreadfulWater is a photographer in Chinook who is hired to take photos of Noah Ridge, a Red Power Movement leader, when he comes to town to promote his book. The real mystery is why Noah chose the little town of Chinook for his book tour. We find out that everything is linked back to a shootout in Salt Lake City 25 years before & the disappearance of Lucy Kettle at that time. Bodies start showing up & suspects seem to be after the bearer bonds & damning documents that were stolen from Morgan Energy in Denver 25 years ago. Thumps, an ex-cop, reluctantly becomes a deputy and goes on to solve the murders. This is an intricate mystery with a great plot and some terrific Native stories thrown into the mix. Thomas King is the best native american writer of our times and always tells a great story!
