you get what you pay for. My usb cable is thicker than this hdmi cable. Below average color quality. Really thin cable. I have never seen this thin HDMI cable in my life.

In a Nutshell

This is not a cable most people would need. The only people who would want one of these cables is someone with a mobile device or digital camera with a Micro HDMI port. Make sure you double check what type of port your device has before buying this, because a Micro HDMI port is NOT the same as a Mini HDMI port.

The Good Parts

* Well made cable
* Good price, even cheaper with a Prime discount
* Works well with my micro-hdmi enabled digital camera
* Useful for displaying camera footage on a TV or for use with an HDMI field monitor (although in that case you'd probably want a much shorter cable)

Could Be Better

* Nothing significant that I could think of

Fine quality but spotty connection

Ive had this product for about a year, and its decent but gets rather flimsy in terms of the connection. I use this at work to connect my laptop to a monitor, and even though I have inserted both ends in rather firmly, if I were to move either the monitor or my laptop even a bit, or accidentally touch the chord, it disconnects. Heck even every once in a while it would just disconnect randomly and come back after a 10 seconds. Considering the price, and the fact that it still works, its not usually much of a bother, except when I'm trying to get work done, or am watching something on the monitor...it can get rather annoying. Considering this was an amazon basics product, I was a bit disappointed that it was not better quality.
