I had been suffering from back pain for many weeks. Although glucosamine is usually more for joints, the other components seemed to be appropriate for all kinds of inflammation. To my pleasant surprise, this stuff really seemed to help a lot. To verify, I stopped take it for a week and the pain started to return, then receded again when I restarted. That's no clinical trial, but good enough for me! I would be leery of taking something this potent indefinitely, but the ingredients are pretty benign too. Thank you to the manufacturer!
BTW, the pills are pretty large, but slippery and tasteless. I find them easier to swallow than a multi-vitamin, but don't try taking them dry.
