We are not amused.... Lol. Well, maybe a little.

This is the "kids" version of what a home security camera should be. Everything kinda works, but only after a few tries and not as well as it should. Its like those "night-vision goggles" for children, that are really fake reading glasses with flashlights attached to the arms. Technically, they do what they advertise, but they don't do what they are leading you to believe they do.
The app I need to use with the cameras is peppered with ads (really? I mean, I did pay for the bleeping cameras). One of the ads looks like a function button so everyone will likely hit it at least once, thinking it does something. Some of the app security functions only work if you sign up for their cloud service; so the money you send them today is only for part of a product. You have to subscribe to get the rest.
If you sign up for the "free 1 month trial" for their back-up service then, you guessed it, they want your payment info and personal deets - so you just signed up for another monthly fee and gave someone else your online credit info. Cha-ching.
I always have to refresh the camera in the application because the app never connects the first time and it is slow - even when I am at home. I never have network issues when I am video conferencing or streaming movies or games. This app is the only product that constantly has connection issues and I have tried it on 3 different devices - all having the same issues trying to connect the app to the cameras.
I didn't sign on for their back up service, so I keep getting reminders to do so, which is annoying.
The picture is meh. Both of my cellphones produce better video and picture quality (so does my $40 GoPro knock-off, lol). Even on HD, faces are grainy at 10 feet distance from camera. I have not used the IR night vision so cannot comment on that, but it would boggle my little mind if that was the one thing about this product that wasn't problematic.
I am not guarding the Crown Jewels, the Colonel's 7 herbs and spices, or the map to Shangri-La, so the basic dysfunctionality of these cameras is tolerable for my current purpose. If I ever need another security camera I will buy from another manufacturer and hope for better. I am not interested in remote access or back up, so those two disappointments don't actually affect me so far. What does annoy me is that after I buy a product the seller keeps trying to sell me more stuff through the product I already bought; even after misrepresenting the product they already sold me. That type of behavior does not deserve my support in any way.
