Great quality rope. Have used for wakeboarding, waterskiing and kneeboarding. Easy to keep rolled up neatly and doesn’t tangle. Only negative is line doesn’t float very well so hard to see at times. I bought blue but would recommend the bright green.
So after a few years of not having a boat we decided to get back on the water. Of course we got rid of all of our gear so we had to start fresh. Not necessarily on a tight budget but definitely looking for deals and found this. So far this has been a great rope at a bargain. While we have only used it a handful of times, it looks and feels extremely similar to the one I paid nearly 2 times for several years ago. I will update as we get into season. So far so good tho.
The rope is solid, doesn't stretch, and the segments are easy to add and remove. The handle is good, but it does not float. So if you have an in/out motor you need to be extra careful to not let it sit too long.
No matter how neatly and methodically I wrap the rope, I spend 20 min untangling the rope during the next session. This is a deal breaker! The handle grip slips and is uncomfortable. The line sinks so im constantly vigilant its not near the prop. I would not recommend this product.
The handle grip ripped the FIRST day we used it! After a few more days on the water, now half of it has ripped. For as much as this product cost, it is not a good value. The line is fine but it does sink. The handle floats but with the duct tape now added to the handle, not as well.
Lasted half a season with two weekend hydrofoilers. Handle is falling apart and the wrap around the line is kinking and cracking. Getting more and more of a pain to store. The padding around the metal handle is slim too. This thing kills when it hits your toes. Buy something better. Airhead should stick to orange flags.
