To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
They all come in a small ziplock bag. There are no instructions on how to use. it's best if you look up how to use, what to mix it with etc before you use them. I made up several to see what they'd do, how they would work. They're okay. Not the best. Not a lot in them and they don't seem to go very far. The pink and red are very similar. The yellow has a lot of lime-y green in it.
The product was easy to mix with two part epoxy to get the desired hue. Only a small amount of the product is necessary to bring out a vivid color. I tried using the mixture as an inlay in a picture frame, instead of a thin strip of wood. The result was very nice, with a burgundy color in a maple frame. I filled the void with the epoxy, heated it to minimize bubbles and let it dry overnight. The next day I sanded the colored epoxy flush with the frame and finished with a spar varnish. It made for a very nice gift.
Colors are beautiful and a pinch is all you need. However, I struggled with the bags being small and hard to maneuver. I would suggest practice removing dye from the bags or put in another storage container before using. Will definate!y buy this again, now that I know the secret . . .
