Do not put children on uneven terrain

Be careful if you plan to put littles in here along with your belongings on uneven terrain or going over rocky areas with hills. This wagon tips over pretty easy as it is built like a three wheeler (easy to tip over)

Overall love it for items that are not my children though. Our beach is very rocky and uneven so if your beach is like that be very careful if you do plan to put your child in there. Very durable. Easy to fold like seconds… and the tires have NO problem going through the sand with my 35 lb toddler in it! i tried my other child who is 75 lb and it obviously was very hard — but still got through!!

Sturdiness okay, maneuverability is good, easy to fold but the thing is that it does not keep up right, Oh not that big in size. I think of using it more for my kid going and coming back from the park and going to the beach in New Jersey. Over all is not bad. Oh the two wheels close to each other is kind of tricky and you need to be careful when turning.

Difficult to Operate in Soft Sand

In spite of the wide, treaded wheels, this cart was very hard to pull, turn or maneuver in soft beach sand.

Right out of the box I knew I had a problem with this purchase when I saw the wheels spun freely and would not lock. Using the storage handle, I pulled folded cart vertically out of the shipping box and when I went to put it down quickly discovered that I had to set the folded cart on its side - the non-locking wheels on the bottom - opposite the handle - would cause it to roll when I went to place it down. With the carrying handle up you couldn't lean the folded cart on anything. You had put the carrying handle to one side while placing the flat of one of the wheels on the ground if you didn't want it to roll away.

At the beach it unfolded great and popping open quickly. The "nested" wide wheels in front worked well. The bin seemed rugged. It had ample capacity for beach chairs, cooler, beach bag, etc. The neatly stowed pull handle worked well and extended for easy, secure pulling across a parking lot, streets and side walks. Pulling and steering the loaded cart across hard surfaces was easy. Navigating the loaded cart over the sand dunes out on the beach was another matter. It sunk too easily into the soft (dry) sand. The wheels stopped rolling and you were pulling four non-moving wheels through 4-5 inches of soft sand. A very tough slog. Lightening the load (removing our cooler) did not help. The loaded cart rolled much better when we finally got it onto the wet beach sand down near the waves.

When done, shaking the sand out was easy, collapsing it and putting it back in the car (on its side) was straightforward. The over-wrapping cover it came with for storage is nice but not needed.

It is very convenient when going to the pool
Maybe not so much on beaches with dunes and soft sand.
BUT - it was WAY better than carrying things by hand from the car!

This unit worked good on soft flat sand but not for steep slopes. The front wheels are close together and act as one wheel. When going down a slope it turns over easy like a three wheeler dumping every thing on the ground.

I like the convenience of the cart folding up but I don’t believe this model works best in dry or wet sand. The wheels are plastic and will make noise on regular flat surfaces but will roll without a problem. The position of the two front wheels don’t help with keeping the cart level if you are pulling it through the sand. When it was full, my cart tipped over sideways due to the wheels being side by side in the center.

Not practical for sand

handle is sewn to carrying compartment and must remain perpendicular to the ground so not practical for pulling through sand. We had to raise front off ground and carry with only back wheels meeting the sand. Would not have purchased had I known this.

The wagon is sturdy and folds back down easily. I returned the original wagon for this one because of the large wheels to take to the beach. It did roll over the sand, but not much easier than the regular beach/sports wagon. With the design of the two front wheels close together in the middle of the front end, it tips easily when turning.

Used this today to go 3 blocks to the beach and across soft beach sand... first, the wheels close together in the front make it quite tippy. I wouldn’t trust a child in it unless the ground was very level and the child didn’t lean at all. Other than that, it did hold a pop tent, small lunch cooler, large blanket, towels and a few beach toys with room to spare. I was nervous about the deep powder sand but It did alright with the light weight I was carrying . It did take some effort to drag it across the deep sand but not a deal breaker. I definitely wouldn’t put a child or a big ice chest in it (or any more than 20# in it) and expect to be able to pull it across the sand but the things we take to the beach are fairly light weight.... less than 10# total. My main disappointment is how tippy it was on the way there. I wanted to be able to let my little boy ride in it the few blocks to the sand but he kept having to get out whenever there was any slope or it would tip over. It would be ideal if the front wheels were wider and if the wheels were inflatable air tires.
Oh! And one last thing... the handle was perfect length for me (5’4”) but it kept getting stuck pulled out and was very difficult to push back in.
If I hadn’t already tossed the box I would have returned it for a different one... but I do like that it collapses for storage and you can fit it in a trunk.
