Asurion has horrible customer service. They are extremely unhelpful and provide very vague responses that do not resolve your concerns. I do not recommend Asurion's protection plans.

Purchased this plan for a sewing machine. When I had a problem, they would not honour their warranty, gave me the run around so much that Amazon finally accepted return of the sewing machine (9 most after purchase). Thanks Amazon. Got a refund from Asurion for the policy...though the pro-rated it as though I had received some benefit from it when I didn't need it. Insult to injury.

Horrible, I had never witness something so bad. I used to think of them as a high rated company but after dealing with a team lead (Nancy Swoboda) telling me that she emailed the other department that was suppose to help me then that she forgot then that what she told me was a mistake. Just so at the end she kept telling me I needed to go to the manufacture...sadly I told her I cannot because I threw away the box and they require the box to honor their manufacture's warranty. Don't waste your money. This company and Square trade as just money grabbers.
