This product will likely crack your hard tire case. Might work for a jeep on rubber spare. Not super sturdy. Couldn't believe there were only 2 main screws to hold in place. Was afraid it was going to crack my bumper after pulling it tight. Had to return and suck up the price for a hitch.

while easy to use and to attach to your car (depends on your car) keep in mind it doesnt lock to your car so its easy to steal, bikes and all. yes you can lock bikes to the rack but the whole thing can be easily removed and thrown in the back of a truck or something. bikes stay secure, dont move or bounce around. depending on car height, your height and bike weight, easy to lift on and off. do recommend as an easy way to take your bikes with you to trails and such

This rack (Allen Sports S302 Premier 2-Bike rack) does what it says. Simple and quick to put on and take off. Feels solid when installed. I take it off when not transporting a bike. The only drawback is that because it's so quick and simple, it's also quick and simple for anyone to steal.

I slow the potential thieves down with a 6 foot bike cable with loops at each end. I install the rack on the tire, weave the cable through the rack and then through holes in the tire itself, and secure with a lock hidden behind the tire. It won't stop a thief but it might slow down or discourage one.

I bought this for my 2002 Honda CR-V and, unfortunately, it doesn't fit. It's a great mount of it fits. My issue was the rear windshield wiper location. The mount arm was hitting the wiper blade and caused me to have to turn it to the side a little. That made it seem like the mount was going to twist and fall off. It's a great, fairly sturdy mount, just not for my vehicle.

I would not use the rack without further tie downs but that is just me, We were on the road driving 80mph so I wanted to make sure. If you have a suv with rear mount spare this is your rack.

It folds up nicely. Rides so quietly you might forget the bikes are there. The bottom hooks are hard to attach because I do have a hitch, so there is little room to get them under the bumper. Took a long time for shipping. This will be great for boys day out camping trip this year.
