To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
While RBG is fascinating, and I enjoyed learning about her, this book is really horribly written. It reads like a millennial blog (because it was) and that just doesn’t translate well into an actual book.
This is one of the best books I have read this year! (I do a lot of reading) Everyone can easily understand the information and it is written in a way that keeps you interested. RBG has done so many important and wonderful things, not just for women, but for men too, in the Laws she helped change. There are also many great photos throughout the book. I highly recommend this book to everyone. We lost a great mind, in RBG's death. R.I.P.
I have always been fascinated by RBG's determination to succeed. She was intensely focused upon learning everything she could about the legal system in this country (& elsewhere) despite the fact that most people thought women had no business in that line of work. She stuck to it and really became an expert that others respected. She is a true feminist, someone who has knowledge of her subject and uses it sensibly.
