I have never read anything so well-written; I wanted to throw the book across the room and give up on what I was writing at the time lol. Alice is a very unique story; a nice dark spin on the original tale, with excellent pacing and creativity galore, and every chapter ended on such a jaw-dropping note I couldn't help but keep reading and lose sleep because of it. That being said, I felt the ending was rather anti-climactic, though I understand there is a sequel which I have yet to finish reading, so perhaps the epic finale I was anticipating will be met there. All in all, worth the read, though; especially for any writers looking to learn a thing or two about effectively using literary techniques.
