To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I just started and am maybe 2 hours into the game. Nintendo did a great job of incorporating the retro 2D mario with the new one and game is certainly lots of fun.
The issue I have with the game so far is the motion controls. At the beginning, it shows you playing with the joycons detached and suggests that. By that, it means you should play like that if you don't want to accidentally throw your console. Playing in handheld mode can be downright dangerous when you are trying to execute Cappy's spin throw move. You have to flick the controllers to the side. Doing so with the joycons detached is easy but if you have the console in handheld mode, you might just end up accidentally throwing it or hitting someone. You can play with the pro controller too but you'll still have a hard time with consistently getting Cappy to spin throw. Easiest way to do all the motion control moves is in detached joycon mode or 2 player mode.
