REVIEW UPDATE 9/2/20: After less than 3000 miles driven, unfortunately the part failed and caused both the Service Engine Soon and Transmission indicator lights to turn on which triggered safe/limp mode and very rough shifting. After replacing with an OEM BMW mass airflow sensor all problems were resolved and the shifting is prefect again. Unfortunately this is one of those instances where an aftermarket part just couldn't perform to OEM standards.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
After installing a K&N intake on my 2004 BMW 325xi, the Service Engine Soon light came on. After doing some research I found out that it's a common problem for E46s after installing the intake, and either the MAF sensor needs to be cleaned, repaired, or replaced altogether. Since this part wasn't that much more expensive than buying the cleaner, I figured I'd give it a shot. During the 1st drive the light was still on so I assumed it didn't work, but on the 2nd engine start I was relieved to see that the light was off. Extremely great value and easy to install - highly recommend.

Car running worse than before I started. Plugging this in puts the transmission in failsafe, all I have to do is plug in the old and that goes away. There's something not right with this part. Stick with Siemens or Delphi.
