Basic Rear view

Best part is the stealth design. The camera itself is basic. Picture quality is okay, not sure if it's the camera or head unit, maybe it would be better with a different head unit? There are lines in the picture which can't be turned off like other cameras. Night vision is decent considering there is no external lighting. I like no lights too. Easy to adjust aim, however not very wide angle and slight fish eye near the extreme corners.

Needs more angle.

Camera image is good during the day and very grainy at night but you can still see. My issue is that it doesn’t cover a wide enough angle and the metal that holds the camera need reinforcement.

Mounted at the top of my plate I was hoping to see the edge of my rear bumper. I tried pointing the down as far as I could (with a plate frame) and still cannot see the edge of the bumper. The camera has guidelines but they don’t work well if you want to fit into tighter spaces. For example, I used parking lot concrete curbs as reference. When the entire curb passes the bottom of my screen (out of view), there is still roughly 2 feet of space between my bumper and curb.

The metal tab allows for easy adjustment of camera angle but it needs to be stronger. If given the option, I would pick the other camera they have here.

I have tried at least 8 different types/styles of rear cameras, and all of them have fallen short of expectation.
This one is the best I've found to date; the install was easy. (Do it the right way not the fast way)

The camera is small un obtrusive and durable and has stood up to the elements without issue.

The picture quality is very good day and night which helps keep everyone safe.

It also makes backing up to the trailer a breeze.

Installed on 2017 Ram 1500 Crew Cab with pioneer head unit.

C'est un bon produit, l'image est belle, l'installation facile par contre l'attache de métal qui tient la caméra est trop flexible, la neige, la glace, le balais a neige ou simplement un enfant qui y touche fera courber le métal facilement ce qui fait qu'avec le temps la camera se détache.

Mise à jour: L'entreprise m'a finalement contacté de son propre chef pour me remettre une nouvelle version de sa caméra de recul afin de pallier la problématique. En attente du produit.

Decent unit low view field

Bought this item to add on to the Salter in my truck and still have a backup camera function with the tailgate removed. Image quality is acceptable but field of view doesn't match the specs I was given for the oem cam. Not this cameras fault. It performs well in low light but not as well as they claim. I have several other trucks that need auxiliary cameras and will be trying other products. This camera is serving well thus far this year.

The original camera I purchased did not work very well at all. This company has since reached out to me and offered me a new improved camera - completely at their cost, including shipping.
I recieved the camera and tried it out. The camera is a much improved camera to the one I originally purchased and preforms well at night with the added night vision capabilities. I am thankful that there are some companies out there that really try to please their customers, this company being one of them. I give them a 5 star now for service and willingness to please.
