When it comes new this bottle works well, but unfortunately there is a dangerous design flaw in the nipple. As you can see in the included photo there is a square of plastic in the nipple that can break loose. It only took a couple of months before we noticed that it had detached completely on one side and is partially detached on the other side. This seems to be the result of teething children chewing on the nipple while drinking. This is a potential choking hazard (and also means water pours out of the nipple when held upside down - a lesser concern). If they manage to fix the nipple design, I would consider buying this bottle again, but as it is, it is on the don't-buy list.
