Stand is made of flimsy plastic

The microphone itself is good quality and works great. However, the tripod stand is made of flimsy plastic at the base. After two years of normal usage, the plastic at the bottom broke, leaving no way to re-attach the tripod legs back to the base. I am now going to have to throw the entire thing away after only two years because someone decided that a stand was a good place to cut costs. It is disappointing that one cannot purchase good quality items meant to last, but only disposable items that cut corners in build quality.

I am very happy with it. its a simple mic for simple jobs. It took about 20 mins for me to figure out settings on my computer to adjust the sound but otherwise I am happy with the products quality and amount I paid. Its a plastic base not metal and there seems to be no feedback background noise happening at this point.

At first, I thought this mic would be of decent quality considering the price point, but I have very disappointed when I got it out of the box. It picked up every background sound and made me sound like I was in a box. In fact, the built-in microphones of my $50 wireless headphones were of superior quality to this one. If you are looking for value, I'd recommend going with something a little better at a slightly higher price point that will give you much better audio. This is not a product I would consider purchasing.

I ordered this because I am now teaching online and the quality of the microphone on my computer and my headset isn't great. I read great reviews about this one but was somewhat sceptical because of the reasonable price. It's lightweight, adjustable and has excellent sound quality. Go for it.

Works good for what I need it for. I do a monthly real estate update video on Facebook, so this works just fine. I use an iMac, and it was literally plug and play. Quicktime video recorder recognizes it immediately and is now the default mic.
