So... You think you're into kink, and want to learn more than 50 Shades (ick) has to offer? This is a sound starting point. It covers a number of topics on a shallow level, so you can see what else you'd like to explore in depth. There are plenty of do's and don't's, with the even more important why's.
This can be used for couples, as advertised, or for those flying solo that want to learn but don't have others to ask.
An example of the writing follows. I like this portion because it defines Subspace show acknowledging that not everyone experience it.
"Subspace is an altered state of mind that bottoms/submissives can find themselves, in which they experience intense feelings of euphoria or other emotions. They can feel “floaty” or disconnected from their bodies. It is thought that subspace is caused by the endorphin rush that often accompanies play, but not everyone subscribes to this belief."
I loved this work book as a beginner! Definitely a great informational booklet if you're just getting into the scene and want to do some research and home work. It doesn't encompass everything but dang it it's a wonderful guide!
This book is structured nicely and gives a good introduction... Slight issue is that there is no description of the activities, even though there is a checklist for you and your partner to say what youd like to try.... which requires you to look up a bunch of stuff just to know what it is...
This book provides a very simple and clear how-to approach for anybody stepping into bdsm gir the first time. It provides exactly enough to start with and prepares the reader to understand that the practice is a work in progress. The checklists are bith practical approach and improtant to differentiating and organizing choices.
