Works nicely, only issue is the app

Received this camera 5 minutes ago. Within that time, I've hooked it up to my galaxy s9 via usb C-OTG(on the go) and completely disregarded the wifi adapter it comes with. The instructions say to download "y_camera" in the google store, but that app seems to be buggy as per the reviews, so I opted for "OTG View" instead. I'm glad it doesn't have to be used with specific software. The camera works nicely to scope the drains using "otg view", and peer behind and under the oven. I eventually plan to use it to look inside my cars transmission. The one problem I'm having, is that I can't for the life of me tell which way is up, as there's no markings on the camera to indicate orientation. One must see the picture on the screen then orient based on that. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to see a red dot perhaps. The cable is semi-rigid as advertised. I think I might tape it to a coat hanger for some extra stability for longer stretches. The battery drain on my phone is roughly 1% per 2 minutes which is acceptable. Picture quality is decent, not great, not bad, things are visible and reasonably clear. For such a tiny camera, it does a good job. I've attached an image to show the hook attachment as if I were trying to fish a ring out from a drain.
